LVX Fall 2014 Anthracite

Hello lovebugs!

I almost forgot to post this!! Here is the last shade from LVX's Fall 2014 collection. I don't know how I could've forgotten because this is my favourite one of the bunch!

This dark gray with slightly blue undertones is Anthracite.

This was so easy to apply and is the PERFECT fall colour. This is 2 thin coats with no top coat.

It's such a classy colour, yet dark and mysterious. I had to add some equally beautiful nail art to the mani.

LVX Fall 2014 Peony

Happy almost Friday friends!

So relieved to have tomorrow off work but I won't be doing anything fun, just running errands and car maintenance. Hopefully I'll have some time to paint some nails!

This lovely pink is called Peony, a pink with slightly lavender undertones.

Application was awesome and was completely smooth and opaque with 2 thin coats.

This pink is so unique and pretty. 

Because the name is so pretty, I added a handpainted peony to match.

I posted a video on my Instagram showing how I painted the flower.

LVX Fall 2014 Macaroon

Happy Thanksgiving lovely people!

It's Thanksgiving here in Canada. I took a break from stuffing my face with the yummy thanksgiving food to show you another beauty from LVX's Fall 2014 collection.

This is Macaroon, a warm peach nude.

It is perfectly opaque in 2 thin coats. A gorgeous nude polish that is neutral and looks great on many different skin tones.

I'm in love with this colour! It's the perfect every day shade.

Here I used it as a base for some flirty florals.

Since the name is Macaroon, I had to do some nail art featuring a French macaron.

This Rose gold accent nail is Picture Polish's Majesty.

LVX Fall 2014 Cerise

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

Today is the Sunday before Thanksgiving here in Canada and while my family is preparing a big dinner for tonight, I'm gonna sneak away for a bit and write this post because I couldn't wait to show you the next colour from LVX's Fall 2014 collection. LVX polishes are free of formaldehyde, toluene,  and dibutyl phalate, the more toxic chemicals sometimes found in nail polish. They are also UV resistant so won't change colour in the sun, vegan friendly so they don't contain any animal by-products, and chip resistant. 

This colour is called Cerise, which is "cherry" in French. It is a bright coral red creme. LVX polishes can be purchased here: www.shoplvx.com

This polish was so easy to apply, you could get away with one coat. I used 2 for the swatch.

So vibrant and pretty!

Red is one of the more difficult colours to apply because once it bleeds onto your cuticles, it ruins the entire look. With the awesome LVX brush, application is easy and the creamy formula allows the polish to stay exactly where you put it.

Because Cerise is such a cute cherry red, I added some nail art featuring a pair of sexy lips eating a cherry. Hot!

LVX Fall 2014 Oyster

Hello lovies! 

This next shade from LVX's Fall 2014 collection is one of my favourites! 

This light gray is called Oyster and it is definitely not your standard gray.

It is creamy and opaque and perfect in 2 thin coats but you can get away with 1. It has slightly blue undertones.

Absolutely gorgeous! And if you haven't tried luxury nail polish, you haven't lived! The application is like butter and the brush is perfect.

Because this colour is so pretty, I didn't want to cover it with art so I just added a sparkly crystal bow. Gorgeous right??

Oyster is a great transition colour from Summer to Fall. It is light but still has neutral, earthy undertones. I cannot say enough about how much I love LVX. It is one of my absolute favourite brands. They are free of toxic chemicals sometimes found in nail polish, vegan friendly, cruelty free and chip resistant. Love it!

LVX Fall 2014 Espresso

Happy first Sunday of October!

The weather has definitely started to cool down for us here in the northern hemisphere. The leaves are changing to red, yellow, and brown and the sun sets much earlier now. Autumn is officially here so we welcome fall collections wth open arms!

This is Espresso, a dark chocolate brown that is rich and perfect for the fall.

LVX is one of my favourite brands because they are non-toxic and do not have any of the toxic chemicals that are sometimes found in nail polish. They are also vegan friendly and chip resistant. 

Espresso is a deep brown that applies very easily. It is a creamy opaque polish that is perfect in 2 thin coats.

It definitely reminds me of a hot cup of coffee.

Brown polishes are the perfect alternative to black if you want something dark but not as edgy as pure black.

Here I paired it with some gold accents: a water marble and gold stud.
