Thanksgiving Nail It Mag feature!

Hi hi!!

American thanksgiving is fast approaching and though many are looking forward to the day after thanksgiving, the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday, I wanted to take some time to give thanks for all the blessings I've had this year. I was able to purchase my first home, been able to spend many wonderful moments with my friends and family, and have been able to increase my social circle with the awesome people I've met through Instagram. I've been lucky to meet some talented and sweet nail artists who have helped nurture my nail art skills. 

I was honored to have been contacted by Nail It Magazine recently to have a feature on their website for thanksgiving. They asked me for the recipe for the yummy sweet potato pies I featured in my original post on Instagram.

Lancôme Vernis In Love Collection

Hellllllloooooo lovies!!

Earlier this year, I was selected as one of the winners in Lancôme's wedding manicure contest. I have fallen in love with Lancôme Vernis In Love polishes. They have the best flat brush which provides awesome and accurate application. I have some beautiful colours to share with you today. They are made in France and beautiful French names. Each swatch was done with 2 coats of polish. These polishes are 3-free, meaning they don't have formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene, the more toxic chemicals in polishes. They are also long-lasting and chip resistant. Great coverage that lasts? What more could you ask for??

First up is Jolie Rosalie ("Pretty Rosalie"), a pretty salmon pink.

Next up Rose Plumetis ("Pink Satin"), a light pink with light shimmer.

Then we have Beige Dentelle ("Beige Lace") a warm rust coral colour.

Then we have Rose Thé ("Pink Tea"), a warm brownish pink

Rose Bonheur ("Pink Happiness") is a pretty, vibrant pink fuchsia.

Here is one of my favourites of the bunch, Rose Pitimini (Pitimini is a type of mini rose flower), a lovely coral red.

This beauty is Violette Coquette. It is a pinky-lavender colour.

Next is Lovered, a perfect red shade.

This is Rouge Valentine ("Red Valentine"), a dark reddish brown.

This red is stunning. This is Miss Coquelicot ("Miss Poppy").

This is Midnight Rose, a dark purple with red tones.

Then we have another one of my favourites, Chocolat Mordoré ("Chocolate Bronze"), a dark rich brown.

This is Rouge Reglisse ("Red Licorice"), a rich burgundy that is almost black.

And last, but most certainly not least, this is Noir Caviar ("Black Caviar"), a dark grey with blue undertones, that is also almost black.
